Johannesburg Bowls Association (JBA) is a proud affiliate district of Bowls South Africa, dedicated to promoting bowls as a fun, inclusive, and family-friendly sport. Our mission is to make bowls accessible to people of all ages and skill levels—whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned competitor.

With the support of Bowls South Africa, our executive committee, and various sub-committees, we continuously explore innovative ways to keep the game exciting, grow participation, and strengthen our community. From social play to competitive leagues, JBA offers professional coaching tailored for all abilities, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to improve and enjoy the sport.

Currently, JBA boasts 26 affiliated clubs and a passionate membership base, fostering a vibrant culture of camaraderie and healthy competition. Whether you’re looking to learn, compete, or simply have fun, JBA is your gateway to the game we all love.
